Fight for your Family Workshop

Does your teen know what to do if they’re approached by an online predator? Do they know what healthy boundaries look like In relationships? Do you know the connection between these every day issues to the problem of human trafficking?
The Resting Place Human Trafficking Serve Team will host the Fight for your Family workshop. This event will provide families with real life practical tools for fighting back against the root causes of exploitation and abuse. The way to end exploitation and abuse begins in our homes.
We will have an hour long teaching for parents and a separate break out event for teens 12-17 years taught by Selah’s trusted curriculum. You will also learn more about serving on our human trafficking team through local nonprofit organizations: created, empowered to change and selah freedom. Light refreshments will be provided.
